Cheers to the Ward brothers Luke and Justin for organising this impromptu shred-fest at Perry Lakes. In typical Perries fashion the lines between skating and surfing were suitably blurred with onlookers treated to a flurry of frenzied berts, grabs and monster punts. Plans are afoot to make this an annual event. Congrats to Liam who took it out – the top 5 finishers: Liam, Reuben, Jimmy, Nick, and Callan. Thanks to all who came down and supported local ripping. Diger Rokwell is a Perth beat maker and visual artist. His new album, ‘We Are All Related‘, a multi-instrumentation work of new beats with snippets from Iran, Africa, Pakistan and India, will be available on iTunes through Paper Chain People from December 11. Diger is a founding member of ‘The Community’, a group of like minded artists who create, support and promote each other. Artists include: YLEM, Mathas, Nick Sweepah, Able, Sibalance, Arms in Motion and DOS4GW, to name a few.
